Summary
Younger children (preschool to 1^st grade) – 42:

Working with the younger children I continue to place emphasis on developing

small motor skills- such as using scissor and glueing paper.

There are new children to work with in this groups. New additions need to learn to share materials as well as help each other. A major goal is will to development group skills.

Primary and Secondary – 31:A return to Castle Bruce Primary means reviewing use of materials and the need to follow directions-Exploring color and how to use scissor- lack of skill means constant supervision without critism.
Continue classes at the Castle Bruce Secondary School-8:This afterschool art club has grown. Many (6) meetings over the summer at my home helped further develop a trust and use of skills with materials and resources. Photos, blogs, and collage were the main areas covered. Three to four students were present at each meeting.
Classes at the library- 12:
Using different materials we worked with colors- and decorate objects found. Using fabric paint we decorated fabric squares. Emphasis in these classes is working with children not general interested in the arts to expand their creative capacity.
